The conventional treatment for intestinal tuberculosis includes the intake of 3-4 anti tuberculosis drugs for the first two months and then 2 anti tuberculosis drugs for next 7-10 months. Usually the anti TB drugs used here are Isoniazid, Ethambutol, Rifampicin etc.

1. Praval Panchamrit

Praval panchamrit is formulated using Shankha bhasma (Conch shell bhasma), Mukta bhasma (Pearl bhasma), Latex of arka (Calotropis procera) and Praval bhasma (Coral bhasma).
Dosage- Take 2 tablets twice daily after meals with plain water.
2. Kamdudha Ras (Moti Yukt)
It is the classical Ayurvedic preparation which helps in treating various ailments like chronic fever, digestive troubles, weakness etc. Kamdudha ras (Moti yukt) is prepared using Praval pishti (Coral calcium), Swarna (gold), gairika (Red ochre), Shukti bhasma (Pearl oyster), Shankh bhasma (Sea shell), giloy (Tinospora cordifolia) etc.

3. Kanchnaar Guggul

It is prepared from herbs like Amalaki (Emblica officinalis), Ginger (Zingiber officinale), Bibhitaki (Terminalia bellerica), Varuna (Crataeva religiosa), Kachnar bark (Bauhinia variegata), Haritaki (Terminalia chebula) and Black pepper (Piper nigrum).
