It is also called “walking dandruff” because large whitish mites appear on the skin that they crawl. Due to use of more flea treatment this disease has become less frequent. It spreads easily by direct contact.The species which are more prone to this disease are rabbits, cats, dogs, and hares. Dandruff, itching and hair loss are the main symptoms shown by cheyletiellosis.

Causes
