Abstract

Bacterial infections are caused by bacteria and viral infections are caused by Viruses, as we all know about this. These both are microbes and spreads by some common means like sneezing, coughing, kissing, or may transfer togetherly by taking contaminated food or water or it may be spread when you get exposure to any other infected creature like pets, flies or ticks, etc. these both microbes can cause acute or chronic infections, and they can be of mild phase, moderate or of severe phase. Both microbes are the same in some things but they are as different as giraffes and goldfish for example – viruses are very small in size they are even smaller than the smallest bacteria in the world, viruses are having a protein coat and a core of genetic material whether it is RNA or DNA. Viruses can’t live without a host, this hand, foot, and mouth disease are caused by a Virus named coxsackievirus. Introduction

Hand, foot, and mouth disease is a mild, contagious viral infection and is very common in young children aged under 5 years old but anyone can get it. This disease is not that serious, but it is very contagious among small children. It is caused by Enterovirus genus in which coxsackievirus most commonly affects health. It is characterised by blisters and sores in the mouth, hands, and feet as the name suggests. This is a very mild condition that can go by itself within some time. • Its symptoms are usually fever and flu including fever, eating or drinking less, loss of appetite, sore throat, headache, malaise, and painful red blisters.
• Flat red spots are easier to be seen on palms and anterior surfaces of the body.
• Most children have these painful sores in their mouths also.

Physical examination of the patient who has the appearance of blisters and rashes.
